Retired, but still interested in participating in SMPTE? The retired membership gives you everything you need, including online access to the Journal, opportunities to keep up to date on technology, to serve as a leader in your Section, and pass your knowledge on to others in the industry. This level is for those who are retired from full-time work, not full-time consultants. Life Member or Life Fellow membership is by invitation only. You must be 65 and have 20 years of membership. Life members are encouraged to make a yearly contribution to the Society to help fund our student projects, and subsidize dues payments for students and those who are unemployed. Our suggested contribution is $65 per year, but a contribution in any amount is greatly appreciated. Thank you for your years of service!
